Food
The Native Americans may have a different culture, but they eat almost the same food as us. The Native Americans grew a lot of their food. They grew corn, beans, pumpkins, and squash. Almost all of the tribes grew corn. Corn was very important or sacred to all of the tribes. If a tribe had a good crop of corn it meant that everyone would have enough food for the winter. They had to cook thier food somehow. One way to cook thier food was to put the meat and vegetables in a clay pot, and then they buried the pot in the ground with hot coals.
A good way to see everyone is to have a clambake. They would have lots of seafood. They would have herring, clams, oysters, and quahogs. To cook the seafood they would need rocks and wood for the fire. But to be able to cook the rocks needed to be heated, then the food would be placed on the hot rocks. Even if the cooking processes are different the food is still Native American.
